About Dr. Hasty
I have wanted to be a vet since 4th grade. Animals have always been a great love for me and I feel privileged to be part of this profession. I grew up in Serena and lived there with my husband and two young daughters Eleanor and Iris until 2018. Fall of 2018 we moved into Ottawa and are in the process of renovating a 3 story building on Main.
I purchased Progress Park Veterinary Hospital in January 2012 and I am proud to be part of such a great team. Some of my special interests are dental care, pain management, and behavior. Talking to clients and learning about their individual needs and families is the best part of my job. That’s why our tag line is Helping People, Healing Pets.

About Dr. Blair:
Born and raised in Peru, I am ecstatic to be part of the Progress Park Veterinary team. Family has told me I wanted to be a veterinarian since I could say the word! I was always trying to take in new pets, and grew up with dogs, hamsters, toads, turtles, and a rabbit. I started my career at a mixed animal clinic in Northwestern Illinois, and truly appreciated all aspects of veterinary medicine.
I am passionate about client education and preventative care. I find the bond made with a client through their pet’s lifetime is the ultimate reward in everything I do.
